Carmelo Anthony is getting ready for his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers and has no plans to retire.
Anthony, a multiple time NBA All-Star, explained when he will understand it will be time to retire from basketball.
“Carmelo Anthony says he still “loves the game” and is still “passionate” about the game. He knows that the minute he doesn’t want to go to practice that it’ll be a sign that “it’s over” in terms of his playing days. He’s not there yet,” Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation reports.
The veteran forward also noted the Lakers will be ready for the season opener vs the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.
