The Los Angeles Lakers played their Big 3 for the first time, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Golden State Warriors (99-111). Anthony Davis had 20 points, LeBron James added 17 while Russell Westbrook scored 10. The loss keeps the Lakers winless in preseason.

After the game, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked about what he saw from the Big 3. “The first half was a lot better than the second half,” he said. “Overall, a good first outing for those guys. We’re just collecting sample size of possessions to analyze and film and get these guys on the same page. Another positive night.”

The final preseason game for the Lakers will be an away game against the Kings. So far, the purple and gold are 0-5 in preseason.
