OKC Thunder forward Gabriel Deck cleared the rumors that they suggested he could return to Europe this past offseason. Several European outlets suggested FC Barcelona was interested in the Argentinian forward.
“The rumors are not true. It was always my plan to be here with the Thunder,” the Argentinian national told Oklahoman Sports’ Joe Mussatto.
Deck joined the Thunder at the end of the 2020-21 season campaign. Before signing with OKC, Deck spent the last three seasons as a vital part of EuroLeague giants Real Madrid.
During his time with the Thunder, he played in 10 games, averaging 8.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest.
