Real Madrid Argentinian forward Gabriel Deck is expected to join the Oklahoma City Thunder on a three-year contract, according to Emiliano Carchia.

Chema de Lucas first reported that Deck was finalizing an agreement with the Thunder.

Deck, who went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft, is leaving Real Madrid two weeks before the EuroLeague playoffs begin.

The 26-year-old spent three years with Real Madrid and averaged 8.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game in EuroLeague and 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in Liga ACB this season.

The Thunder don’t currently have an open roster spot, so they will have to waive a player to make room for Deck.

*Update: The Thunder have waived Darius Miller to create roster space to sign Deck.

Once Deck arrives and ultimately gets cleared to play, he could find his way into the Thunder’s rotation as the team is dealing with several injuries to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Darius Bazley, Luguentz Dort, Isaiah Roby, Mike Muscala and Josh Hall.
