Forward Gabriel Deck and Real Madrid paused their contract extension talks, according to Carlos Sanchez Blas.

Real Madrid signed Deck to a three-year deal in 2018, so the player will become a free agent the following offseason, if he doesn’t extend his contract with the Spanish club.

During the 2019-2020 shortened season, the Argentinian forward, who is expecting to acquire a Spanish passport soon, averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per 20 minutes in 24 games.

Furthermore, Gabriel Deck was one of the most impressive participants in the latest Basketball World Cup (2019), helping Argentina reach the competition’s Final.
