Real Madrid head coach Pablo Laso opened up about the future of Jaycee Carroll with the club.
Carroll currently is a free agent, but has a contract offer from Real Madrid to remain with the squad. The veteran guard currently is in the United States and hasn’t decided on his future.
“Carroll is in the United States and we don’t have him. I do not look very long-term, today Carroll is not going to play the Super Cup, I hope he will play on Sunday, but he is not here. He is a player we value, we love him, he’s very Madridista, but he’s not going to be in the Super Cup.
We have great respect for him, he is the foreigner with most games in the team, which says a lot about how important he has been.
I don’t reveal anything if I say that he has always generated many offensive situations for us, but now he’s not here,” Laso said, per MARCA.
Carroll has spent the past 10 seasons with Real Madrid and has won several EuroLeague and domestic titles during that time.
