The Ben Simmons saga has escalated quickly in the last few days, after the three-time All-Star asked the Philadelphia 76ers to trade him.

The Australian superstar informed the team he would rather play in one of the three NBA teams in California. Anthony Slater of The Athletic reported Thursday that there has never been a ‘realistic’ offer on the table from the Warriors.

The Warriors are looking to improve their roster in various ways, with Klay Thompson hoping to bounce back, after two years of serious injuries.

It’s clear that Simmons’ days as a member of the Sixers are numbered, however, several NBA teams showed interest, but the Sixers’ steep asking price never fullfiled.
