Anthony Slater of The Athletic highlights that the upcoming offseason holds significance for Moses Moody within the Warriors’ context. As of July, the former 14th overall pick becomes eligible for an extension, indicating a potential increase in his responsibilities next season.

This possibility could be further amplified if Klay Thompson departs in free agency or if Golden State opts to trade Andrew Wiggins.

“I think it’s really important coming into year four for (Moody) that there is some reasonable playing time available for him where he can impact our team and be out there and continue to improve,” general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. said this week.
