Kevin Durant shared his thoughts on why basketball fans don’t like fellow NBA and Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving.
Durant believes it was Irving’s decision to leave both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics that made him unpopular among fans.
“I just think people don’t like Kyrie because he wanted to leave Cleveland and he wanted to leave Boston…I don’t think it’s any deeper than that,” Durant said about Irving.
Durant and Irving joined the Nets back in 2019 and transformed Brooklyn into a legit title contender. They recently signed multi-year contract extensions with the Nets.
