Gilbert Arenas was not very impressed by the moves of the Los Angeles Lakers in the start of free agency.

Arenas, a great NBA player, called the Lakers a ‘senior citizens discount team’ after signing a plethora of veteran players.

The Lakers have signed Carmelo Anthony (37 years old), Trevor Ariza (36 years old), Dwight Howard (35 years old), Wayne Ellington (33 years old), Kent Bazemore (32), Russell Westbrook (32), Malin Monk (23 years old) and Kendrick Nunn (26 years old) in free agency so far.

As a result, the Lakers have one of the oldest rosters in NBA history, with five key players being at least 35 years of age.

For his part, Gilbert Arenas averaged 20.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists in his 11-year career in the NBA (2001-2012).
