Patty Mills was unstoppable and helped Australia rally past Nigeria in the opener of the Tokyo Olympics (84-65).
Mills went for a game-high 25 points (7/16 shooting, 5/8 from beyond the arc), while three more players scored in double figures for the winners.
On the other hand, Obi Emegano (12 points) and Jordan Nwora (10 points) were the only players in double digits for the losing squad.
After a hard-fought battle in the first half (43-40), Australia dominated Nigeria in the second half (41-25) and cruised to the victory.
Australia will now face Italy on Wednesday, whereas Nigeria will battle Germany.
