Patty Mills has signed with La Laguna Tenerife for the remainder of the season, the Spanish club announced.

The 16-year NBA veteran holds career averages of 8.7 points, 2.2 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 921 games, playing about 20 minutes per contest.

Known for his energy, off-ball movement and perimeter shooting, the 6-foot-2 guard has converted 38.5 percent of his three-point attempts.

Aside from representing Australia internationally, this will be Mills’ first professional stint outside the NBA.

The 37-year-old did not land an NBA contract last offseason and has been out of the league this year, most recently playing for the Clippers in 2024/25.

Mills has seen his role diminish in recent seasons, failing to top 40 appearances or 14.2 minutes per game since 2021/22 with Brooklyn.

He played 29 combined games with Utah and Los Angeles last season, averaging 3.8 points in 11.1 minutes.

La Laguna Tenerife, also known as CB Canarias, competes in Spain’s Liga ACB and the FIBA Champions League.

Mills was also named general manager of the University of Hawai’i men’s basketball program last June and has spent the past decade living in Hawai’i during the offseason.
