Kyle Kuzma is interested in getting a more consistent role than he had this past season with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 25-year-old forward started 32 games for the 2020 NBA champions this past season averaging 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

It seems that despite not having a consistent role, Kuzma compares himself to some of the top stars in the league. “I think that Kyle Kuzma perceives himself as someone like Jayson Tatum. I think that’s how he views himself,” NBA insider Eric Pincus said on the Lakerside Chats podcast.

Tatum, who was an All-Star for the past two years, averaged 26.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this past season.

For Kuzma the future is once again uncertain. He has three more years on his contract with the Lakers (the final year is a player option) but his name is being mentioned in trade rumors.
