The Los Angeles Clippers avoided going down 0-3 in the first round series against the Dallas Mavericks by winning Game 3 (118-108). Kawhi Leonard played 42 minutes for the winners as he scored a team-high 36 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
It was the third straight game for the Clippers star where he played 40+ minutes. “Got to do whatever it takes at this point,” Leonard said when talking about the fact, per Andrew Grief.
Kawhi also said adrenaline gets him going in the playoffs and he is not tired. “It’s playoff basketball. The adrenaline gets me going. My mind isn’t tired. I’m in good shape. I’ll do whatever it takes,” he said, per Mark Medina.
