Dennis Schroder said the Lakers winning the title last season helped them acquire a ‘championship DNA’.
Schroder noted that even though he wasn’t part of the team last season, he feels this ‘championship DNA’.
“Schroder says that even though he wasn’t on the team last year, he can feel the “championship DNA” from his teammates that won it and it’s rubbing off on the new teammates,” Lakers Nation reports.
The Lakers managed to steal the home-court advantage from the Phoenix Suns and took the upper hand in the series, with the next two games taking place at Staples Center.
