Kenny Smith made an interesting statement regarding the defending champions Los Angeles Lakers and their first-round series with the Suns.
Smith, an NBA on TNT analyst, wants to see what kind of champions the Lakers are.
“I want to see if the Los Angeles Lakers are the champion of old, or just old champions. I want to see what they are,” Smith said on NBA on TNT, via Lakers Nation.
The Lakers struggled offensively in Game 1 vs the Suns (90-99) and they are now trailing the series 1-0. Game 2 is on Tuesday.
