Luka Doncic has his sights set on winning the NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks and is not very interested in the MVP award.

Doncic said leading the Mavs to the title is more ‘important’ than earning the MVP award.

“We won the game, that’s the most important thing, if I have zero or 15 points in the fourth quarter. I don’t really care about MVP. What’s important is [the] championship,” Doncic said after Game 1 win over the Clippers on Saturday (113-103).

Doncic went for a triple double (31 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists), as the Mavs stole the home-court advantage in the series (1-0). Game 2 is on Tuesday at Staples Center.
