Charles Barkley made an interesting statement regarding a potential clash between the Nuggets and the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.
Barkley, an NBA legend and Hall of Famer, would pick the Nuggets to eliminate the Lakers, given the current playing condition of the two teams.
“If the season ended today, I would take the Nuggets over the Lakers,” Barkley said during his appearance on NBA on TNT.
The Nuggets have already secured their place in the playoffs and are third with a 44-22 record. Meanwhile, the Lakers are sixth, at 37-28.
