On Thursday, Dallas Mavericks superstar Kristaps Porzingis had a knee injury during the game against the Detroit Pistons.

Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle gave the latest update on Porzingis’ injury. “I don’t know really anything else about Porzingis’ knee, but he was walking around fine and seemed in good spirits afterwards,” he said, per Brad Townsend.

Besides, he was certain that Kristaps Porzingis will soon be in a good shape. Therefore, he added: “I thought he did some good things out there, but I’ve seen him move better . . . We hope it’s a short-term thing and hope for the best.”

This season, the Latvian forward is averaging 20.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Mavs.
