Houston Rockets point guard John Wall’s first season with the team has come to an end.

Wall will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a hamstring tweak, according to Shams Charania.

The Rockets will have the opportunity to play with some different lineups for the final 11 games of the season.

Young players including Kevin Porter Jr. (20), Jae’Sean Tate (25) and Armoni Brooks (22) will be featured in the Rockets’ backcourt.

Wall played 40 games and will finish the season with averages of 20.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game, on 40.4 percent shooting from the field in 32.2 minutes per game.

The 30-year-old is under contract for at least one more season, as he has a player option for the 2022-23 season.

The Rockets currently have the worst record in the NBA at 15-46 and have a 52.1 percent chance at a top-four pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
