After being ruled out for tonight’s game, Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis has progressed to a game-time decision for Friday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Davis last played on Feb. 16 and has been out since with a sprained right foot.

In addition to Davis, LeBron James is also eyeing a return for Friday’s game after dealing with an ankle sprain. James is hopeful to test out his ankle and try to make a return to the lineup, notes Wojnarowski.

James, who has been out since March 27, returned to Los Angeles to rehab mid-week.

The Lakers currently sit in the No. 10 spot (the last Play-In spot) in the Western Conference, 1.5 games behind the Pelicans for No. 9 and a half-game ahead of the San Antonio Spurs.

The Pelicans have won both games against the Lakers this season, winning by 28 in the first matchup, and the second one by eight after the Lakers blew a 23-point first-half lead.

With only seven games left, every one becomes that much more crucial and must-win.
