John Wall experienced his first season back from multiple injuries that kept him out for almost two years. He was traded to the Houston Rockets at the start of the 2020/21 season campaign for Russell Westbrook.

The five-time All-Star still thinks he’s one of the best guards in the league. Wall has naturally did not find his form this season as the Rockets are one of the worst teams record-wise this season.

“I still think I’m an All-Star in this league,” Wall said. “I still think I’m a big-time player in this league. In the last two years, there’s a lot of talent that came into this league, and there’s a lot of guys that are still in this league that were talented before I got injured. But I feel like when I’m healthy, I can go against the best of them.”

Wall is averaging 20.6 points (third most of his career) and 6.9 assist per contest in Houston shooting a career-low 40.4 percent from the field.

He has two more years and $91.67 million left on his contract with the second year being a player option.
