Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had nothing but good words to say about his teammate in the Lakers Talen Horton-Tucker.

Caldwell-Pope praised Horton-Tucker for his improvement since his rookie season, calling him a ‘sponge’.

“He’s like a sponge. He’s really applying it to his game and we love it. Last year we threw him into the fire and he showed what he could do. He’s just continued to grow since then,” Caldwell-Pope said about Horton-tucker, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.

Horton-Tucker is averaging nine points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists for the Lakers this season, while he had 24 points (8/13 shooting) in the loss to the Jazz (111-97).
