Andre Drummond played his second game with the Los Angeles Lakers against the Miami Heat which was his first “real game” as he described it since his debut was cut short by a torn toenail.

Following the loss to the Heat, the 27-year-old center was asked about how long he expects it would take before he gets fully adjusted to his new team.

“I don’t know,” said Drummond. “I’m just taking it by stride right now. I’m having fun I’m out there. Learning a whole lot while I’m out there. I’m a smart basketball player, there guys are smart as well too. I don’t think it’ll take very long for me to get adjusted and really figure out how to get all the engines running.”

Drummond had a double-double in the game against Miami as he scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in 28 minutes of play.
