Andre Drummond spent the final part of the 2020-2021 season with the Los Angeles Lakers after joining the defending NBA champions in April as a free agent. While his future remains unknown as he again is a free agent, he talked about his experience with the Lakers this past season.

“I enjoyed myself. I think my time and experience in LA has been really good. I think I’ve learned a lot being with those guys LeBron James, Anthony Davis… I think my experience in LA was really good. I really enjoyed myself being out there, I learned a lot. Just looking forward to what’s next,” Drummond said on ESPN’s The Jump.

This past season, the 27-year-old center averaged 14.9 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists per game. His numbers shrank when he joined the Lakers, though. In Cleveland, he averaged 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while in Los Angeles he dropped to 11.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
