According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Andre Drummond is leaving the Los Angeles Lakers to join the Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year deal.

The center, who turns 28 later this month, became a Laker in the later part of last season. He played 21 regular season games for the Purple and Gold averaging 11.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

There were doubts on whether Drummond and the Lakers can reach a mutually acceptable agreement to continue their cooperation as the team was limited to what it could offer to the player. However, according to Kyle Neubeck, the center agreed to a minimum deal with the Sixers.

While Drummond left Los Angeles for Philadelphia, another center, Dwight Howard, made the opposite move as he joined the Lakers for the third time in his career.
