Golden State Warriors did not make it against the Grizzlies as Steve Kerr team split the back-to-back contests vs. Memphis.

Saturday’s matchup swang on a clear turning point. With 1:43 remaining in regulation, Memphis trapped Andrew Wiggins along the sideline and forced a steal.

Despite being in front of the play, Steve Kerr opted to not call a timeout to pull Wiggins out from a tough situation in a crucial moment in the game.

“That was my fault,” Kerr told reporters. “As soon as I saw him trapped, I should have run on the court and taken a timeout and I didn’t do that.”

After Saturday’s loss, the Warriors are ninth in the Western Conference and four games back from the sixth seed. With no Curry available, the Warriors lacked a closer to lead them in crunch time as they only scored 3 points in the last two minutes.
