The Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James played just 11 minutes against the Atlanta Hawks as he suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter. The four-time NBA champion will be out of action indefinitely. The Lakers ended up losing the game 94-99.
After the game, Frank Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers was asked about LeBron’s reaction to his injury. “The mood of the team is we’re disappointed we lost,” Vogel said.
“We got to get back and win one tomorrow. And I won’t disclose what LeBron was like internally. It’s in-house.”
Following the loss of James, the Lakers will have to deal without either of their superstars as Anthony Davis continues his recovery process.
