Klay Thompson referred to his return to action and how it will help the Golden State Warriors become title contenders again.
Thompson expects the Warriors to return to title contention with the All-Star guard back to the lineup.
“I anticipate us being right back in contention for a championship again. I’ll be honest, I don’t expect to come back balls to the wall, 38 minutes a night, guarding the best player, running around 100 screens.
I’m going to get to that point. I guarantee that. I plan to be an All-NBA player that I was,” Klay Thompson said on Sunday, via Wes Goldberg of Mercury News.
Thompson has been dealing with serious injuries and hasn’t played since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
