Blake Griffin opened up about the role that Kevin Durant played in his decision to sign with the Brooklyn Nets for the remainder of the season.

Griffin said Durant was the Nets player that recruited him the most, according to Rachel Nichols of ESPN.

Griffin will not make his debut with the Nets on Thursday, as he hasn’t played since February 12 and has to work on his conditioning.

For his part, Durant will miss another week of action, as he has not recovered yet from the left hamstring injury he suffered in February 13.
