Blake Griffin will not make his debut with the Brooklyn Nets in the game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday.

Griffin is not in the ideal physical condition, as he has been out of action for almost a month.

“I’m not injured at all. I just haven’t played in three weeks so I think it’s smart to sort of ramp me up,” Griffin told reporters, via NBA.com.

Griffin hasn’t played since February 12, sitting out the rest of his time with the Detroit Pistons before agreeing to a buyout last Friday.

He practiced with the Nets on Wednesday, but the team listed him out because of left knee injury management.
