The Lakers have showed interest to trade for PJ Tucker, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

As the NBA insider noted, the Lakers are monitoring the situation between the Houston Rockets and Tucker in order to make a move.

However, the Rockets are not willing to negotiate a deal, if it does not include a player they can include in the lineup.

“Woj also just said that the Lakers are interested in PJ Tucker, but that so far the Rockets are asking for a player they can put in their lineup, not just picks,” Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll reports.

The Lakers are searching for a big man to add to their roster before the trade deadline (March 25) and have already been linked to DeMarcus Cousins.

Tucker has $7,9M left on his contract with Houston and he will be a free agent this offseason.
