With Anthony Davis ruled out for the near future due to an Achilles injury, Montrezl Harrell and Marc Gasol will have to stand their ground against some of the bigger post players. For Harrell, such mismatches mean nothing as he does not consider size a factor.

“I don’t really believe in that that smaller stuff man because at the end of the day if you believed in that, then the elephant would be the king of the jungle and that didn’t happen,” the 6′ 7″ forward/center said.

“I come out here and I put my hard hat on like everybody else. Everybody on this team, everybody in this league know that I ain’t back down from nobody. I don’t care what your size it. I don’t care what you do.

“So at the end of the day, like I said, it goes back to our coverages as far as the coaching staff of what they had us doing, mixing up different coverages every time KAT [Karl-Anthony Towns] caught the ball.

Marc’s coverage was different from my coverage and I don’t think we really just them get comfortable. But as far as that giving up size stuff, people know me around this league. They know I’m back down from nobody.”
