Stephen A. Smith sees only one way Blake Griffin could return to the Los Angeles Clippers after three years.
Smith believes Griffin could join the Clippers only if he apologizes to owner Steve Ballmer.
“I think he could go back to the Clippers and help. But guess what? In order to do that, you know what he needs to do? Apologize to owner Steve Ballmer… I don’t want to see him on the Lakers. I don’t think that’s the right fit,” the ESPN analyst said, via Clutchpoints.
Griffin, who spent nine years with the Clippers (2009-2018), could leave the Detroit Pistons before the trade deadline (March 25).
