Blake Griffin has officially joined the Brooklyn Nets and will reunite with his former teammate in the Los Angeles Clippers DeAndre Jordan.
Griffin will play for the Nets for the remainder of the season and admitted Jordan was one of the reasons for his decision to agree to a deal with Brooklyn.
“We go way back. Anybody who you’re that familiar with it always makes it easier. That definitely played a part,” Griffin said, via Clutchpoints.
Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan were teammates for nine years in the Clippers (2009-2018). The multiple time All-Star is expected to make his debut with the Nets on Thursday against the Boston Celtics.
