James Harden will sit out the game against his former teammate Russell Westbrook on Sunday’s prime time. The Brooklyn Nets’ superstar has been ruled out against the Wizards due to a thigh injury, per Malika Andrews.

Harden was traded to the Nets on January 14 and immediately made a huge impact alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving becoming a member of a star-studded team.

The 31-year-old is averaging 24.5 points per game on 46.3 percent shooting plus a league-high 11.1 assists per game. Brooklyn’s offensive dominance is evident with Durant, Irving and Harden on the floor.

On the other hand, Westbrook, who was traded to the Wizards during the past offseason in exchange for John Wall, has yet to find his footing in his new team, averaging career-lows in points and shooting.

The Wizards have the worst record in the league so far with just three wins in 15 games.
