Goran Dragic has known Luka Doncic since his childhood as an agile child. At the age of 13, Luka joined the Real Madrid academy. Already then, Goran Dragic envisioned an extraordinary talent in Luka Doncic.
“Everybody started talking about him. At that age, we figured out that he was probably something special,” Dragic said per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
Doncic has been in the MVP conversation and is considered one of the favorites for the award. He is currently averaging 27.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 9.7 assists this season.
Doncic and the Mavericks are 12th in the West, at 8-10.
