FC Barcelona suffered a huge financial loss during the 2019/20 season, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to 2Playbook, via Eurohoops.net, FC Barcelona had a financial loss of 28,8M euros last season, the second-highest in club history.

Per the report, this is 26.2% higher than the 2018/19 season, and is the outcome of the loss in revenue and the amount of money spent on salaries.

At the same time, revenue dropped by 28.8% (around eight million euros) and the same happened with revenue from commercial/advertising (50% drop).

On the other hand, FC Barcelona saw a rise in TV revenue by 15.4% (3,2M euros).
