Dabone’s debut has sparked conversation across European basketball. At his age, he now stands as a candidate to potentially break the EuroLeague’s youngest-player record. That mark is held by Fedor Zugic, who appeared for Buducnost Podgorica at 13 years, 5 months, and 5 days in 2019 against Zalgiris Kaunas.
The Burkinabé prospect is already well known in youth competition. He featured in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals in 2024 as a 12-year-old, competing against some of Europe’s top under-18 players.
