Magic Johnson believes the Hall of Fame speech of the late Kobe Bryant would have been ‘special’.

Bryant, the late Lakers and NBA legend, will be inducted in the Hall of Fame in May and Johnson is looking forward to it, even though Bryant will not be able to give his speech himself.

“I know he was going to give a speech that probably would have been the best all time, cause he’s competitive like that. He probably would have listened to what I said, what Michael [Jordan] said.

He would have said, ‘OK, I’m about to give the greatest speech that there has ever been at the Hall of Fame,'” Johnson said, via Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash in January 26, 2020.
