The Cleveland Cavaliers are planning to pay tribute to former franchise centerpiece Kyrie Irving with a video during the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, per Chris Fedor of

Irving spent the first six years of his career with the Cavs and helped the franchise win an NBA championship for the first time in team’s history.

The Cavs wanted to air the video in his return game on Oct. 17, 2017, but Gordon Hayward’s gruesome injury made them scrap the celebration.

Irving did not get back in Cleveland since then, and the franchise vaulted the video since now. Since Irving’s trade to Boston, only Kevin Love and Matthew Dellavedova remained in Cleveland.
