During his recent appearance on the “All Things Covered” podcast, a four-time NBA Champion, one-time MVP, 15-time All-Star, and 14-time All-NBA Shaquille O’Neal threw a shade at the Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert, who got the third-largest contract in league history this offseason becoming the highest-paid center ever:
“I’m not gonna hate, but this should be an inspiration to all the little kids out there. You average 11 points in the NBA, you can get $200 million,” O’Neal said, via ClutchPoints.
Gobert has played eight seasons for the Jazz. His career averages are 11.8 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 479 regular-season games. He has been selected to play in 1 All-Star Game.
