DeMarcus Cousins is hopeful the Houston Rockets will be one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season.
Cousins called the Rockets a ‘threat’ and believes his team can be the pleasant surprise this season.
“I think we’re absolutely a threat. Obviously it’s a narrative around our team right now which is gaining attention. But I think we can compete in the West, we’ll fly under the radar,” Cousins said, via Kelly Iko of The Athletic.
Cousins has not made his season debut with Houston yet, as he was in the NBA Health and Safety Protocols. He is expected to be available for the game against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
