LeBron James will turn 36 years old a week into the 2020-2021 NBA season, which will be his eighteenth. Despite being a veteran, the four-time NBA champion remains at the top of his game and is considered one of the best players in the league.

For his coach, he is the best player in the world. Frank Vogel, the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, praised LeBron in a recent interview. “He looks great. He’s the best player in the world,” Vogel said on Day 2 of training camp, per Mike Trudell.

Last season, at the age of 35, James played at an MVP level averaging 25.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game.
