Jared Dudley took to Twitter and reacted to Anthony Davis re-signing with the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
Dudley said he expects Davis to be an NBA MVP candidate next season.
“I’m expecting AD to go for the MVP. I’m expecting AD to set the tone early on. He should’ve been DPOY,” Dudley tweeted.
Davis agreed to a five-year, max contract with the Lakers, worth $190M. For his part, Dudley re-signed for another season with the defending champions.
