The players of the Los Angeles Clippers were not satisfied with the performance of Montrezl Harrell in the Orlando “bubble”, says Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

According to Buha, the players of the Clippers were concerned Harrell played more for his numbers than (for) team success, as he would enter free agency.

“Another point of contention was that certain players felt teammates were looking out for their contracts more than the team, league sources said.

Earlier in the season, teammates had felt Harrell was looking out for his numbers because he was a pending free agent, and that belief continued into the bubble,” Buha reports, via Lakers Daily.

Harrell eventually decided to leave the Clippers and sign a two-year, $19M deal with their rivals, the Lakers.
