The Phoenix Suns seem to get back on track being ready to compete in the West for a playoff spot in the upcoming season, after adding Chris Paul the past offseason.

LeBron James talked about his former teammate and current general manager of the Phoenix Suns James Jones during his recent appearance on the Uninteruppted’s “Road Trippin’” podcast.

(via Arizona Sports 98.7):

“My guy James Jones has done a hell of a job over there,” James said. “He’s done a hell of a job in not only acquiring CP3 but he is building that team.

He’s got some really, really good things going on over there to add to the All-Star, future superstar Devin Booker,” the Lakers’ superstar continued.

Jones and James have been longtime friends, reaching the NBA Finals seven consecutive times as teammates in Miami and Cleveland.

The Suns added depth and veteran leadership during the past offseason with the additions of Chris Paul, Jae Crowder, E’Twaun Moore and Langston Galloway.
