Phoenix Suns superstar Chris Paul went down with a right shoulder injury during the first half of Game 1 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.

The veteran star was hurt following a LeBron James lay-up. Paul went down holding his right shoulder and wincing in pain.

The Suns’ superstar got up slowly before heading to the locker room with a towel over his head. He returned five minutes later with the Suns announcing that he suffered a right shoulder contusion, per ESPN’s Rachel Nichols.

Paul seemed to be shaken up during the last three minutes of the first half, however the Suns were able to maintain an eight-point lead heading to the half-time.
