Dwight Howard opened up about his target with the Philadelphia 76ers ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Howard said he wants to help the Sixers climb to the top of the NBA and win the title.
“I believe that this is our year. It’s been a long time since 1983 [when they last won the title]. So I think it’s time that we hoist up another banner here in Philly,” Howard told reporters, via Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Howard, who won the 2020 NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers, agreed to an one-year, $2.5M deal with the Sixers.
