Isaiah Thomas is hopeful he will draw interest from NBA teams ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Thomas, a 2017 NBA MVP candidate with the Boston Celtics, gave an update on his current physical condition.

“Those guys were like, ‘Damn, welcome back. You really look like yourself’. That only gave me more confidence to be able to play the game again. I mean, I was blowing by people.

I haven’t blown by anybody since I had a Celtics uniform on. When I was able to blow by MVP-caliber players, that told me my burst and power and speed are there. I really feel like I’m back,” Thomas recalled to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

Thomas recently played in pick-up games with Kevin Durant, John Wall and other NBA players and looked ready for his return to the NBA after nine months.
